Africans in the Greco-Roman World

Africans in the Greco-Roman World

Posted on May 14, 2020

Africans in the Greco-Roman World is one of the newly funded faculty-student research collaborations which took place through a course offering in the fall of 2019. The course combines classical studies with history and African diaspora studies. The material counters the common impression that people who lived in and interacted with the Greco-Roman world were only Greek and Roman.
